QUESTION: Can I capture (jump) one of my own pieces?
ANSWER: NO! Never, under any circumstances, can a Man or a King capture (jump) one of its own pieces.

QUESTION: Are captures (jumps) mandatory?
ANSWER: Yes. They are. When you can capture in more than one direction, or capture more pieces one way, than another, the option is up to you. You can capture either way, but you have to capture.

QUESTION: Can Men move backwards?
ANSWER: No.

QUESTION: Can Kings move or capture backwards?
ANSWER: Yes. A King can move or capture one more Men or opponent's Kings in any direction.

QUESTION: Can Men capture backwards?
ANSWER: Yes. Men should keep capturing backwards as long as it is possible.

QUESTION: Can Men Capture Kings?
ANSWER: Yes. In fact they must. Captures are mandatory.

QUESTION: Can a man or king, jump over 2 pieces?
ANSWER: NO. To jump, there must be an empty square adjacent to the piece or pieces being jumped.

QUESTION: Can Kings move along diagonals to move or capture, like Bishops in Chess?
ANSWER: Yes.


QUESTION: What if I cannot move because my pieces are all confined?
ANSWER: If you cannot move because it's impossible to do so legally (by the rules), you lost the game. The object of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces or make it impossible for your opponent to move.
